One way that to learn more about YOUR Fire District is by visiting a fire station for a tour. Tours last approximately one hour and offer a view of the day-to-day operations, different areas of the firehouse, meeting with the firefighters, and a close-up look at the equipment and trucks that respond to different emergencies. Group sizes of not more than 15 are preferred, and an adult must accompany any children under age 18.
Please remember that our number one responsibility is still responding to emergency calls, so the tour may be interrupted should an emergency call require us to respond.
To schedule a station tour, call the Arcata Fire District Headquarters at (707) 825-2000 or email info@arcatafire.org.
